Robert Kinnun is President and CEO of Great Lakes Financial Services, a financial planning firm focused on providing their clients the finest array of products and services to meet their financial needs. With 16 years experience in the financial services industry, he has participated in the development of standards for client suitability, disclosure of risk, and client education. Current projects include assisting MACU and its member credit unions to integrate financial services into their portfolios. Other areas of expertise include forensic investment analysis for courts, securities litigation work, and tax law. Robert (Rob) is a qualifying member of Million Dollar Round Table, an association for financial professionals, and Michigan Association of Life Underwriters. He strives to maintain and enhance ethical standards within the financial services industry. Rob is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, is a registered principal and branch manager for Madison Avenue Securities, Inc., and is securities registered in several states. He resides in Midland with his wife Ann, and two sons Christopher and Sean.
Chris Setula is an associate of Great Lakes Financial Services and is a registered representative of and offers securities through Madison Avenue Securities, Inc. Chris was employed with National City Bank for over 22 years and recently was with Thrivent Financial For Lutherans for over 6 years.
Shelley Sullivan is Robert's assistant and a case development coordinator for Great Lakes Financial Services, Shelley serves as the focal point for logistics coordination in estate and retirement planning processes, implementation and communication follow-up. Shelley is also responsible for tracking and monitoring all state licensing requirements as well as associated product appointments.Shelley’s previous work experience as an executive office assistant brings us in-depth knowledge in administrative support, organized productivity, meeting planning and communication enhancement. As a quality-focused team player, Shelley strives for excellence and customer satisfaction. Shelley received her associate’s degree in Secretarial Science from Delta College in 1971.
Cindy Munro is the office manager. She comes to us with a bachelor's degree from Saginaw Valley State University. Because of her diverse background Cindy is the special projects coordinator for Great Lakes Financial Services. Her primary functions include bookkeeping, compliance, and web site administrating.
